Appearance

A man worn and used the elements, the line of his face is a strong one and calm, having seen many years of the world and its shadows. The eyes are a stormy grey, the intense hue of clouds in the midst of a thunderstorm, rainy and fraught with the flicker of lightning. His dark hair is bound back from his head, a knot of leather cord binding the shoulder length strands peppered with a few flecks of silver. His lips are solemn but not unused to laughter and smiles. Often his grey eyes dance with hints of good humor, a love of life in his intense gaze.

His clothing is rich but practical, a light mail shirt of black-silver over the well-crafted and darkened leathers favored by the northern Dunedain. He wears a cloak of deep emerald, nearly ebony that is clasped by a gleaming green stone at his throat, the Elfstone of stories and tales. At his side he carries his weapon, a great-sword the like of which the world has not seen since the days of the Numenor. Anduril, Flame of the West, a blade of power and justice against the foes of the Western lands. In his limbs flows the effortless grace of the Rangers of the North. He moves with an easy dignity as they do, but also holds the manner of a king.

Personality

He is an honorable man, personable enough now that he has mostly shed his identity of Strider. Quick to give comfort and healing to those in need, he is in contrast, harsh against his enemies. Aragorn is wise in the ways of the world as well as finely educated by his distant family among the Elves. His speech and demeanor are affected by this training, though he is well traveled enough to make conversation with those not as knowledgeable as he. He is free though careful with what wisdom he possesses, and a firm leader who expects his commands to be obeyed when he has been given permission to lead. Friends are something he treasures and trusts, and in turn he is trustworthy and kind to those who name him a companion.
